SEO for Therapists

Pricing

Three packages. Cheaper if you commit.

No setup fee, no lock-in. Monthly runs at the standard rate with thirty days' notice to stop. Pay quarterly and it drops twenty percent, annually and it drops forty, because that is the horizon this work actually pays back over. Everything built stays with you either way.

Quarterly saves 20%, annual saves 40%

Are you a group practice?

Past a handful of clinicians or locations, the work gets scoped and quoted against your practice rather than a package.

Prices are in US dollars. The figure shown is the effective monthly rate for the term you pick, and quarterly and annual terms are paid up front. Content and page counts are the working baseline rather than a hard cap. If a month calls for one substantial page instead of two shorter ones, that is the better trade and we make it.

You pick the term

Monthly with thirty days' notice, or commit to a quarter for twenty percent off and a year for forty percent off. Nothing to sign beyond a scope of work.

You keep everything

Pages, profile, schema, documentation, and access. It all stays with you when the work ends.

No ranking promises

Nobody can guarantee a position, and anyone who does is guessing. You get the reporting to judge it yourself.

Handled end to end

Pages get written, published, and maintained without needing your sign-off on each one. Ask for review rights at any point and it switches over.

Questions

Before you book.

How long before I see results?+

Technical fixes and Google Business Profile work can shift local rankings within weeks. Content and links are slower, usually three to six months before a competitive specialty page holds a position. Anyone promising a specific ranking on a specific date is guessing, and Google's own documentation says the same.

I work online and do not have an office. Does any of this apply?+

Yes, and it is the reason the first package exists. Without a physical address you cannot rank in the map pack, so the Google Business Profile work that most local SEO is built on is off the table. What is left still works: specialty and modality pages, the technical layer, directory profiles and citations, and being readable to AI assistants. That is the Online Visibility Package, and it deliberately does not charge you for map pack work you cannot use.

Does AI search actually matter yet?+

It matters enough to build for, not enough to panic about. People are increasingly asking an assistant for a therapist rather than typing it into a search box, and those tools answer by summarising sources instead of listing links. The practical work of being one of those sources is mostly the same work that makes you rank normally: clear structure, consistent facts about your practice, and unambiguous specialty pages. That is why it is in every package rather than sold as an add-on. Anyone quoting you a precise share of therapy searches now happening in AI is making it up.

Can you use client testimonials?+

No, and neither should you in most cases. Most licensing boards and professional ethics codes restrict soliciting testimonials from current clients. That rules out the review-generation tactics that general local SEO agencies lead with. It is a real constraint, and it means credibility has to be built through specialty depth, credentials, professional affiliations, and clear writing instead.

I already get clients from Psychology Today. Why bother?+

Directories work, and there is no reason to drop them. The issue is that you are renting that visibility and competing with everyone else in the listing on the same page. Your own site is the one asset where you set the terms. Most practices are better off running both.

Do I need to move my website?+

Usually not. Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, and most practice-management site builders can all rank fine. A migration only comes up if the platform blocks something fundamental, and if that is the case I will tell you what it costs before you commit to anything.

Do you write about clinical topics?+

Yes, and I publish them too. This is a done-for-you arrangement: topics, drafting, editing, and publishing all happen here, so nothing sits in your inbox waiting on you. Content stays inside general psychoeducation — no diagnosis, no treatment advice, no claims about outcomes — and it is built from your own pages and how you already describe your work. If you would rather sign off on everything, or just on certain topics, say so at the start and it runs that way instead. Either way you can pull or change anything at any time.

Is there a contract?+

There are three ways to pay and you pick. Monthly is the standard rate and you can stop with thirty days' notice. Quarterly is twenty percent cheaper and annual is forty percent cheaper, because you are paying for the term up front and SEO work compounds over exactly that kind of horizon. There is no minimum term on monthly, and whichever you choose, the work stays with you: the pages, the profile, the schema, and the documentation.
