SEO for Therapists

About

A small company that does one thing.

SEO for Therapists is a trading name of Premark Lab Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. The work is search visibility for private mental health practices and nothing else, on purpose. Below is what that means in practice, what it deliberately leaves out, and how to check any of it.

The focus

Why it is only therapists.

Almost every local SEO playbook opens with review generation, because for a dentist or a contractor it is the fastest lever available. For a licensed clinician that move is restricted before it starts: APA Standard 5.05, ACA C.3.b and NASW 4.07 all bar soliciting testimonials from the people you treat, and the ACA extends it to former clients. An agency running one process across twelve industries will reach for it anyway, because in eleven of them it works.

That is one example rather than the whole argument. Therapy sits where three awkward things meet. It is health content, which search engines hold to a visibly higher standard than a page about patio furniture. It is a regulated profession, so what may be claimed about outcomes is set by your board and not by a copywriter. And the demand behind it is local almost regardless of how the query is typed, which puts the map pack in front of your website whether or not you have an office to put in it.

None of that is exotic. It is simply badly served by a generalist, and the reason is structural: the standard playbook has to be modified in four places before it is safe to run here, and nobody rewrites a playbook for one client in forty.

How it runs

Who actually does the work.

This is one person’s work, not a team with an account manager in front of it. What that costs you is capacity: there is a ceiling on how many practices can run at once, and when it is reached the answer is a wait rather than a junior. What it buys you is that whoever audited your site is whoever writes the pages, and nothing is relayed through somebody who has never opened your Search Console.

It is also done-for-you rather than advisory. Pages get written, schema gets added, the Business Profile gets fixed, and it goes live without landing back on your desk. If you would rather sign off on everything first, say so at the start and it runs that way — but the default is that you are buying the work, not a strategy document to implement yourself.

Everything is remote, and there is no reason for it not to be. The job is a crawl, a Search Console property, a Business Profile and a great deal of writing. None of it improves by being done in a room you drove to.

Standards

What is missing from this site, and why.

Some of it is missing because there is nothing honest to put there yet. Some of it is missing because it would be worthless even if there were. It is worth knowing which is which.

Testimonials and client logos

There are none published because there are none I have permission for and could evidence. When there are, they will be named and checkable. A column of first-name-and-initial quotes is the cheapest thing on the internet to produce, which is why it convinces nobody who has read two of these sites.

Case studies with traffic charts

Same reason, plus a second one. A screenshot of a rising line proves nothing about who caused it or what else changed that quarter. If a case study goes up here it will carry the practice name, the starting position and the timeframe, or it will not go up.

Ranking guarantees

Nobody controls Google's ranking systems from outside them, and Google's own documentation tells you to be wary of anyone who says otherwise. A guaranteed position is either a promise about something the promiser does not own, or it is for a phrase nobody searches.

Statistics with no source

The figures this industry passes around — the share of therapy searches that are local, the share of clicks the top three take — mostly trace back to nothing. Where this site quotes a number it links the study. Where there is no study it says so rather than estimating one.

Evidence

Most of it is already published.

The insights library is 34 articles on therapist SEO: local rankings and the map pack, Google Business Profile, specialty pages, the technical layer, AI search, and the places where all of it runs into your ethics code.

Nothing there is gated behind an email address, and it is specific enough that a determined practice owner could implement most of it alone. That is intentional. Before anyone has paid for anything, published work is the only honest way to show what the work is.

The company

SEO for Therapists is a trading name of Premark Lab Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 17391216. Both the company and the number are on the public register at Companies House, so none of this has to be taken on trust.

There is no office to visit. The company has a registered office for filing purposes — it is published in full on the terms and privacy pages — but nobody works from it and nothing should be sent there. The work is remote and the way to reach anyone is hello@seofortherapists.org.

Prices are set in US dollars because most of the practices this is built for are in the United States. The terms and the privacy notice say the rest of it.

The quickest way to judge any of this is the audit.

Thirty minutes, no obligation, and you keep the findings whether or not you hire me.
